Melissa Marcus Designs is a full-service residential and commercial design firm. Whether your project is new construction, a complete renovation or redecorating, Melissa works with you from beginning to end to ensure your space fits your lifestyle. Melissa not only works with you to select finishes and furniture; she manages all contractors and vendors involved with the project bringing everyone together as a team. By taking care of every element in the design process you can rest assured all details of your project will be taken care of and your space will feel like home.
Full-Service Residential or Commercial Design
We create custom designs that includes a project estimate outlining fees, budget and timeline, in-person floor plan and materials presentation, paint colors, furnishings, rugs, window treatments, lighting, décor and accessories. We are on site during the installation process, meaning every detail is taken care of and you can come home to a fully redone space.
New Construction and Remodels
We are involved in the building or renovation process from the very beginning and project manage the construction until the very end. We start with space planning and the bidding process by providing recommendations for contractors, architects or builders. If you already have someone in mind, we work directly with them to review contracts and documents. And you don’t need to worry about making big choices on your own; we work with you to select all necessary materials including countertops, flooring, countertops, cabinets, plumbing and hardware.
Consultations
We provide consultations for an hourly rate to clients with smaller projects. This includes, but is not limited to, choosing paint colors, picking out a few new pieces of furniture or accessorizing an already finished space.
E-Design
We provide virtual design services that include a vision board with items for the space, a to-scale floor plan based on measurements you take and a final document that has the vision board, floor plan and shopping list with items from national retailers.
